Overview

This is the fourth television adaptation of *Zenigata Heiji*, starring Tomisaburō Wakayama, Shōji Yasui and Hashizō Ōkawa. Rather than the ‘mystery-solving’ elements typical of previous *Zenigata Heiji* adaptations, the series emphasised the elements of youth dramas, which were a cash cow for Nippon Television.
