Overview
A team of contestants answers rapid-fire general knowledge questions, building a chain of correct answers to bank increasing amounts of money toward a top prize of $1,000,000. After each round, the team votes off the member they consider the weakest, who is dismissed with the iconic line: "You are the Weakest Link. Goodbye." The game continues until only two remain, who face off in a final round.

After each round, the players vote to eliminate the contestant they believe is the weakest link, gradually narrowing the field until two finalists face off for the chance to win the money. Hosted by Anne Robinson, the American version of the popular British game show combines trivia, teamwork, and ruthless elimination as contestants try to prove they are the strongest player in the chain.
