Overview

Gülperi is a 2018 Turkish drama following Gülperi, a devoted mother whose world collapses after her husband's sudden death. Forced to live with hostile in-laws who turn her own children against her, she ends up imprisoned after defending herself against assault. Released and alone, she flees to Istanbul where a lawyer from her past helps her fight to reclaim her children — and perhaps find love again. A powerful story of resilience, motherhood, and survival. Starring Nurgül Yeşilçay and Timuçin Esen.
