Lupin, knowing that Onabes has a villainous past, decides to give him a shock, by disguising himself as a shipwrecked woman(?!), and thus getting aboard his ship... a plan which works fine up to that point, but what should happen then but that Onabes falls in love at first sight with Lupin in his female disguise, and proposes!!
