Agnieszka is investigating a girl’s death in Opole: all evidence points to ritual murder. At the time, Piotr was teaching religious studies there.

Agnieszka comes across a similar murder from months prior. Meanwhile, Ewa becomes an easy target for Piotr, who still watches her every move.

Exhausted Agnieszka has a theory about the perpetrator of the crimes and is convinced that he has already begun his search for the next victim.

Wojtek and Agnieszka find Ewa in the forest. Can they save her? To assist with investigating the religious aspects of the case, the police engage a specialist, Piotr.

Agnieszka finds a clue looking through older cases. With her daughter, she also finds a personal picture matching the serial killer victim profile.

As Monika begins to understand what really happened, Agnieszka is worrying about Jola’s safety and decides to find out the truth about her childhood.

While she starts a dramatic search for clues that could help her find Jola, Agnieszka meets a priest and finds out about her own mother’s death.
