

Kumada is mistaken for the culprit at the scene of an assassination attempt on the governor of Tokyo and is escorted away. Meanwhile, a bomb threat is announced at the police station and the station is blown up. Kumada finally returns to the investigation amid suspicions that there is a spy among his own people. He sets out to get to the bottom of the case.
