In Barhain, ancient former Dilmun, fishing has always played a fundamental role, as attest the several fish bones excavated on the archaeological site of Qala'at al Bahreïn. The observation of traditional fishing techniques with the help of “haddrah” or “gargour”, still used nowadays, represents a complementary source of information.
Haddrah and Gargour was directed by Nathalie Desse-Berset.
Haddrah and Gargour runs for 17min, and was released in 1994.
