Silent black and white images evoke and simultaneously erase time, as an elderly woman is shown at various ages recounting the love of her life. While braiding her hair on a staircase, she recalls the walk up the hill, the passage to look at the vista beyond the backyard, and the first time she met her husband at the ocean's edge.
