Overview

Djamin Setia Selamanya tells the story of a young man from Tanah Karo who becomes a central figure in Indonesia’s independence struggle. Born in 1921 and educated under Dutch rule, Djamin joins Gyugun with hopes of freedom, only to realize true sovereignty must be fought for. Alongside Likas Tarigan, he leads brilliant guerrilla tactics in North Sumatra while torn between devotion to family and unwavering duty to his homeland.
