Overview

In May 2020, volcanic activity around the world suddenly ceased, without any scientific explanation. On Reunion Island, the director of the Volcanology Observatory believes she has found evidence that the volcano is not dead but merely dormant. A prominent volcanologist and his assistant are sent from mainland France to investigate this hypothesis.
